1. In the three weeks left at EMF, what are you looking forward to the most?
I am looking forward to amazing orchestral experiences and performances in addition to continuing to make friends and socialize.

All of the flute faculty, especially my teacher Brian Gordon, are inspirational musicians. I have learned so much ALREADY in my private lessons and masterclasses. I have also enjoyed getting to known my counselor Kim.

I have enjoyed everything! However, the Joshua Bell concert and Canadian Brass concert have been my favorites!

Everyday I go to the gym to workout between rehearsals. I also hang out with friends.
5. How is your private teacher here different from your teacher at home?
here my teacher is more into finding for me the comfortable and very centered approach. My teacher back home is more into this is the proper technique. My teacher here uses the proper technique but she also talks very much about being comfortable and disciplined. the difference is philosophy. My teacher here has been reviewing a lot of flute basics, which I never really learned when I was younger. My teacher at home works a lot on my sound and many pieces. They are both inspirational teachers.
