SHELLEY ACKERMAN: First Days...

Hey everyone! EMF is so much fun. All of the students here are very sweet, and extremely talented as well.I got here on Friday, a day early, and immediately made some friends. Their names are Ruby, Becky, and Paul. They are so sweet and fun!
Today we had the first band rehearsal. Although Mr. Schwarz did not make it, we had a lot of fun reading the music.Today was also my audition...which didn't go too well...but I am sure that I will have fun no matter what seat I get for the first week. (All of the flute players are absolutely amazing - I am honored to be a part of the flute "group" this season).
Ruby played in the first piano recital tonight - she was so amazing. Well...all of the pianists were amazing.
Time to go to bed...early band rehearsal tomorrow morning! (Tomorrow is also the first day of orchestra rehearsals).
