EMF before: First time

Why EMF? Well, actually, it was a slightly random choice. i knew that i was going to apply to the music school i went to after freshman year (The Performing Arts Institute at the Wyoming Seminary) and i knew that i was going to apply to Brevard because i didnt get in last year. i had heard about EMF and decided i might as well apply because unlike a lot of the other places ive looked at, i actually had to audition here in order to get in. so i was accepted at PAI, waitlisted at Brevard, and waitlisted here, at EMF. a few weeks later, i got a call from EMF and they said they had a spot for me, so, here i am!

First heard: I heard about EMF from a co-worker of my sisters. this woman loves listening to the EMF orchestras and when she met me and heard that i was a musician she mentioned EMF. when it came time to start applying, i came across EMF again and remembered how much the woman admired EMF, so i decided to give it a try.

Career: I would like to be a music teacher at the middle school level. :-)
